Letter Of Request For Church Activities

Lets see Webcom 2010 (spring)

At its 8th edition, and for the first time since its inception, the event Webcom had an entire track RP 2.0 .

Hopefully it is a historic decision by the organizers. And most importantly, that the professional public relations there will always respond with enthusiasm (either as speakers or participants). The challenges of Web 2.0 are too high ...

I wish to thank sincerely the first speaker to have lent RP 2.0 in the exercise: Mario Asselin , Pierre Bellerose , Martine DORV l Mylène Forget , Benedict Archbishop and Serge Leclerc .

The U.S. advisor Shonali Burke and Matt Moore (head honcho of the contents of Webcom) also contributed significantly.

Thanks also to participants who turned out in large numbers. This is about me first successful, especially when you consider the other tracks Webcom that offered the usual programming of the most noted.

Below is a short interview with Marc-André Lanciault , the sympathetic collaborator Christian Aubry ( the amicalmant ) at the end of my day Webcom (duration 8 minutes approx.)

By early evening, several speakers found themselves in a restaurant in Old Montreal. I could sympathize with a lot of people all as bright as each other which Sean Power, Jimmy Wales and Katheline Jean-Pierre , among others ...

Here is a photo taken by Naomi Lipowski of Pelmorex Media , late evening and after a little show of magician offered at the table by his spouse Lyndon Jaramillo ( qué tal hombre ?). What we did not know it Jimmy Wales also had a little magic trick for us ... (We laughed a lot!)

The photo I'm in the middle of Sean Power and Jimmy Wales (the chance that the photo is taken from a cell, it was already late enough as it ...) :

Sean Power, for those who do not know, is a specialist degree. Here is his presentation at Webcom (designed in collaboration with Alistair Croll):
presentations of other speakers (including mine here on SlideShare) should be online at Webcom, very soon.

Hardness In Groin After Heart Cath

Webcom Montreal: Do not miss May 26, 2010

Webcom Montreal hosts Wednesday, May 26, 2010 over thirty speakers whose presentations revolve around the major tracks: Business 2.0, Marketing 2.0, 2.0 solutions and a track dedicated to the theme Public Relations 2.0.

There are still some places to this day that Jimmy Wales welcomes , Tara Hunt , Julien Smith and Chris Heuer , among others ...

The common thread? The Web in real time!

For my part, I have the honor of participating in the track PR 2.0.

Pierre Bellerose of Tourism Montreal, share the ball from RP 2.0 9:20 with his lecture entitled Public Relations 2.0: change values in the menu ... Mr. Bellerose addresses the challenges and specific issues raised by the media explosion Social in public relations consultants, even if they remain in his opinion, best placed to manage the process.

The panel PR 2.0: New Paradigm or homecoming? meets the super independent consultant, author and recent , Serge Leclerc , president of Massy-Forget Public Relations , Mylène Forget and your humble servant . With any luck, Martine Dorval could join us ... provided that Europe does not retain or longer ... that does not spit Eyjafjöll his bad fumes ...

For this panel, I begin to compare, like Bill Sledzic some "theories" of the book hinge Manifesto evidence (Cluetrain Manifesto) with observations of the late Patrick Jackson .

Sledzic recalls, in this post , how, at Jackson, listening, interpersonal relationships, dialogue, transparency and change, short, symmetrical two-way communication were already central concern of "new" public relations for many years before the explosion of social media ...

I was fortunate to meet with Jackson twice (in Vancouver in 1996 and Chicago in 2000) and I still hear very clearly through his nasal voice uses paraphrases Sledzic ... You do not come to "discover" the merits of the conversation with social media ... However, bidirectional communication is symmetrical it really take off in the environment of Web 2.0?

In early afternoon, the U.S. advisor Shonali Burke and none other than Matt Moore present a lecture entitled Twitter and crisis management in Mumbai . How two people, one in Washington and one in Montreal, were able to cover a real-time crisis unfolded thousands of kilometers from their observation post, and beat traditional media speed?

Occupation: Community Manager!

We talk a lot in recent months and that is the title of the conference Mario Asselin , CEO of Opossum. Mr. Asselin addresses issues of community manager , with several recent experiences in hiring staff and setting up different types of communities on the Web.

Crisis management in the era of real-time web

For my part, I state my comments on the issue crisis management in real time by recalling the case Greenpeace / Nestle (Kit-Kat) in March 2010 and its misguided excesses in the corporate site Facebook Nestle (what I call the crisis provoked).

If I have a little time, I turn the crisis into coincidental describing how social media - And Twitter in particular-become not only sources of information but mostly coordination sites, following the volcano Eyjafjöll which paralyzed air traffic in Europe in April and always seemed to threaten at the beginning of May 2010 .

I hope to meet you at Webcom Montreal spring 2010. An event not to be missed for business communications!

Thanks for reading.

What To Say Congratulations Pregnant

Christian Blanc, "we will not make architecture before urbanism"

In an interview with Paris Match.fr , Christian White explains his vision for the Greater Paris in 2024. He is convinced that the dynamics of Greater Paris and its projects may give the French capital in the heart of world capitalism and bring the Olympics on the banks of the Seine, 100 years later. And of course, as evidenced by reading the bill on the Greater Paris, in the end considered by Parliament, the strategy is to bet on the ring road transport, metro automatic " We Metro then have the world's best: the double loop a fully automated system - secure, so - driving at 60 or 80 km / h on 130 miles serving 40 stations (a little more, with those of the Meteor line, the backbone of its radial line that crosses Paris): None capital in the world have the equivalent. In thirty or forty years Paris will be a major platform for global economic activities " . Excerpts:

  • In Place transport infrastructure in the SDRIF: "... François Fillon him (Jean-Paul Huchon) wrote to tell him that his master plan" lacked ambition ". But he has always nothing changed. It is unlikely that a project for the capital region has no links with airports, or junction with future interconnection TGV stations - which is progressing well - and even less with the Wed .. A heresy for a great capital of the world! "

  • On the financing of the double loop automatic metro: Paris Match - And the League of Greater Paris, there Will there a new Haussmann in his head? You? Christian Blanc
"The president of the League of Greater Paris is more like a Fulgence Bienvenue, the creator of the Paris Metro! When asked when the repayments would be completed, he replied: "In 1973!" I checked the last installment was paid a decade earlier. Our debt to the large loop will take approximately forty years. " And how do you repay this huge cost of 21.4 billion euros? Where will the revenue?, Asked Paris Match.
    "
In valuing property, royalties from commercial activity stations, which become real businesses, and the toll paid back by the company operation, the transport authority of Ile-de-France, which will be handed infrastructure in thirteen years " says Christian Blanc.

  • On its layout and urban integration : Paris Match - It will serve living areas or "fields of potatoes"? Christian White - "But it is nonsense monstrous to peddle it as fact Huchon! Within a radius of 1.5 kilometers around the future stations, there are 5 million people. These are potatoes? I said one day to the Assembly. Since then I have not heard that expression. Around 2 million Parisians intramural there are 7 million people. This figure is added to the population of the 14 largest French cities, from Marseille to Cannes via Nice. They have all, or almost a stadium, train station, an opera, etc.. And local transport. If we can pool in a great city all these types of equipment - in "high places ", as some architects draw, or about" polarity "- this should maximize the quality of life. And we see the absolute necessity of a network very efficient, very fast, working round the clock. The Big Dig is the bloodstream of Greater Paris. "

  • International Workshop on the Greater Paris : "

All architects of the consultation will be in the scientific council of the International Workshop of Greater Paris. But we will not make architecture prior planning. This is what differentiates me of Jean Nouvel ... (...)

I respect his talent, he's a genius of architectural design, but it does not really for a planner with his colleagues. "

Greater Paris Town Planners recommends re-focus "this metropolitan vision" in referring to analysis Marc Wiel, published on the website Urba of + / Network Planning Institute of Paris .
